Deansgate Labour Party is the Branch Labour Party covering Deansgate Ward in Manchester City Centre. It is represented by three Labour Councillors. It sits within Manchester Central Constituency Labour Party, which is represented in Parliament by Labour MP, Lucy Powell.

We are an active, friendly branch:

• We meet monthly to hear reports from the work our Councillors are doing, to discuss local issues, and to debate political issues
• We input into the Manchester Labour local manifesto and we submit motions to Manchester Central CLP to inform Labour Party policy
• We regularly socialise from going to the pub to going bowling or seeing political films
• You can find us out on the doorstep or delivering leaflets in our own ward, around Manchester Central or beyond to share the Labour message
